Wireless/Powerline Diversity Communication

The demanding requirements of future home networks will require a hybrid approach where multiple communication media are used in a coordinated manner. Wireless and powerline communication (PLC) are a natural combination due to their ability to provide extensive in-home coverage. In this work, we present measurement results from a recent study on wireless/PLC diversity [1] and propose an alternative combining scheme for future study.
